Fourths

Hello fellow students,

I want to share with you  my thoughts about fourths.

I consider this interval the milestone of  modern improvisation and modern composition.

Players like Coltrane, Holdsworth, Diorio, McCoy Tyner, Gambale and Chick Corea were using fourths for decades.

Stravisnky , Bartok, Schoenberg and Debussy mastered it as we can listen in their unique compositions.

In this book you have tons of fourths stuff to get a master on it.

With this book you can apply fourths to the seven scales -including triads positions and phrases- that belongs to Tonal Theory: Major

Melodic and harmonic minor

Harmonic major

And The Symmetrical scales:

Diminish

Whole tone

Symmetrical augmented

And of course the star of the book is the Pentatonic scale, a sub set from the Major scale, where our fourth fit easily.
